The team - the 1 line bio

Postby Topanga » Fri Nov 27, 2009 6:00 pm

It would be good that we write down a 1 line bio who everybody is.
I don't know everyone, and it's nice to know who you are going to work with.
We can protect this info later is you realy want to.

Ed, male, 47, Arizona, likes long walks on the beach and an ... oops. Using and abusing b2evo since v0.something. Do the forums over there, did a bunch of skins stuff once, did some plugins, played with antispam.

Paul, male, 42, tropical UK .. I play with code and shit that grows. Been using evo since 0.9.x and an evo dev from 1.x.x -> 3.x.screwed, written the occasional plugin, been told I have the style sense of a blind guide dog so never released a skin

Foppe, 43, Groningen, NL. I accedentally stumbled upon B2evo (v1.6, but I have had 0.8 installed) and stayed there. I'm interested in all things related to code and various languages, both history and syntactical differences. But that doesn't nessecarily make me a good coder ;) I contributed various skins and several plugins, amongst other.

Scott, male; 50; Vancouver Island, Canada; web developer, volunteer firefighter, at-home dad & adventurer. Met Yabs over php-coffee at a 0.9.x cafe, helped out on the forums, hacks code (not in a good way), thinks of himself as a renaissance man, but is more a stick in the mud.

John

John, 52 and a typical Leo living in Canberra, Australia. I'm in a low paying, freewheeling business partnership with a mate in Queensland. He does financials and I do marketing strategy for small businesses. I've been using b2 from when when it was http://cafelog.com/. I can't change the world by hard core code, but I can help it go faster and look a bit tidier. I blow away the cobwebs by playing blues guitar and obeying the "better half".

Lee, male, 32, also in sunny UK. I think my first install of b2evo was 0.9.something but didn't get into it till 1.10.something I have written a few plugins and converted a few skins (I can't design a skin to save my life however).
