Support forums : The Future

changelog post

The future of this project but not in a "I want a pony" sort of way. This is all about everything meta about Quam Plures. The general direction, the support tools, stuff like that.

Just to say. I wasn't thinking we needed any new domains. I was just being lazy by typing qp.net and not the full quamplures.net :)

And I'm not swift enough to catch on as fast as I can reveal my ignorance via a keyboard

Tblue wrote://edit: qp.com is taken.

So it is. I only typed it in the URL bar; no server at that address but it is registered.

The alpha dracones branch? Gotcha covered :)

Also started playing with styles but that comes out almost as bad as if you play with styles.

http://blog.quamplures.net/ is updated. There is only one post there with protected visibility, so expect nothing if you're not a member of that blog. If you are then it has some cheesy little styles applied to sort of somehow show the bits are organized into a small collection of sections (then ordered by date). Oh and the styles are applied by uploading a style.css file to the blog's media folder.

I've got 2 merges left to go - fix_item_css and yet_another_image_branch, then I'll add a third given that we all sorta know the security thing is gonna happen. No matter which branch if either of the two up there, the write-up will basically be the same ya know? That way if/when we publish a release based on the security thing being valid, that item will be publishable by whoever has permissions to do that.

http://blog.quamplures.net/ is now completely up to date. I mean, the only post in "blog" blog is up to date.

It is still "protected" so unless you're logged in to your account there and are a member of that blog you're not gonna see it. Perhaps that post should be published even though it isn't complete until we make a new release? My thinking is so what if we update it after publication because publication proves that work is happening.

Anyway I do like the new way I've done it. Each merged branch is given a class to categorize it (border bottom 4px groove, color is the type of change), and they are all in chronological order matching the email order.

So yeah we should publish that now and update it as need be.
